Notes from the judges
This smells like brown sauce but tastes more interesting. A fruity beginning but the fairly fierce chilli soon comes through.
It is a warm and rounded heat, though, not a harsh and unpleasant one. There are sweet notes from the fruit and a touch of vinegar acidity which never overpowers.
Any bowl of chips would be honoured to meet this..
